To everyone here struggling to choke their cymbals in Superior Drummer 3: Go to Midi In/E-Drum Settings in Superior Drummer 3, hit your cymbal, then under “edit”, tick the two boxes “lower choke threshold” and “single choke mode” (the latter is required to prevent a once-choked cymbal from continuing to produce choke sounds). This made it work for me (using an Efnote 3X and Superior Drummer 3 in Logic Pro X). 😊 Apparently, Efnote aftertouch signals are sent at a weaker velocity than aftertouch signals from other manufacturers; I never had these issues with Roland, for example. The problem is that I still can’t choke a different cymbal sound on the edge than on the bow (say, splash or china on the edge of a crash, or an extra crash on the edge of a ride). Only if both / all three cymbal sounds belong to the same cymbal (crash bow and edge, or ride bell, bow, edge), both or all three of them can be muted. Haven’t really tried with the Crash 2 cup yet, because triggering it is unreliable to begin with. Also, Superior Drummer 2 doesn’t seem to have these options (“lower choke threshold” and “single choke mode”). So in Superior Drummer 2, I can’t choke my cymbals at all right now - and I also can’t simply open my Superior Drummer 2 settings in Superior Drummer 3. The sound libraries all work in Superior Drummer 3, of course, but the file format of the project files is different.

I have these sounds. Very good but the cross stick is uniformly too loud. Set the volume to 75 for all kits.

Hey guys Tnx 4 this vid. Efnote 5 user here, first of all I can not connect to the module with the app. It is connected to my iPhone or iPad by Bluetooth but no luck finding the module in the app. Any suggestions? My Second question is will uploading one kit be automatically put in the module or replace a specific kit? There are some of that I tweaked and don’t wont to lose the info. Tnx for helping out

Hello, what is better to choose for playing concerts? Roland TD20X or Alesis

No bass drum pedal and the bass drum pad moves forward even with a thick carpet . hi hat pedal stops working after a while . still a good kit . i gig with mine so its been through the mill .

He's playing with a double bass drum pedal ,sometimes he has his hi hat set to play a bass drum . Great drumming , he knows all his rudiments .

Roland if you want modern sets that sound already heavy mastered or Efnote if you want realistic acoustic sound..

I have only 1 and important question, is the sound exactly the same as what sounds in the video? Or am I going to buy the battery and find a different sound? I say if the video has some type of editing or something like that, by the way which headphones or amplifier are recommended
